Bendol: Fire Riedl, PSSI "blunders"

Former Indonesian national team coach Benny Dollo, rate, sudden decision to fire coach Alfred Riedl PSSI as a blunder. Because, with a very tight ahead of qualifiers Pre-World Cup, national team will need another adaptation to the new coach Wim Rijsbergen.

"The decision is not quite right. Wim was good with a variety of experiences. However, he did not know the true character of Indonesian football. I doubt if she can potion team within a narrow time. Riedl should let it be assigned to the Pre-World Cup is finished," said Bendol when informed journalists on Thursday (07/14/2011) in Jakarta.

Wim has only nine days remaining to prepare the strategy and mental Firman Utina and friends, ahead of the party against Turkmenistan, 23 July.

"The impact to the player must also disrupted. Players (core) will flatten the back. They also have to adapt again about the coach. In fact, time is tight," added Bendol.

Riedl PSSI was fired because of his contract. PSSI is now led by Djohar Arifin Husin claim Riedl not have a contract with PSSI institutions, but by Nirwan Bakrie as the former Chairman of the National Team (Chair BTN).

Wim own newly appointed PSSI has long been poor across the world of international football. He had been coach of Ajax Amsterdam youth team. He also became an assistant coach Leo Beenhakker led the national team while Trinidad and Tobago at the 2006 World Cup. Currently, Wim still listed as a Premier League club coach Indonesia, PSM Makassar.
